God invites us to participate in His work daily in our church, community, nation and world. He tells us to pray “on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests . . . and always keep on praying for all the saints,” (Eph. 6:18). We (the Prayer Leadership Team at Riverside) want to make that easier for all of us. Therefore, a calendar is attached for each of us to use daily to pray for Riverside’s family and activities, including the missionaries we support. Each box includes important requests and celebrations of our Riverside family, such as meetings, birthdays and anniversaries. You are asked to simply pray for the concern listed or pray blessings upon those celebrating any special days.

WOW Begins February 1st
WOW (Women Of the WORD) is a group of women from Riverside who meets monthly to pray for our husbands. We intercede on behalf of their spiritual lives, friends, jobs, integrity, generosity, etc.
WOW meets at Riverside the first Tuesday of every month from 6:30-8:00 p.m. It’s for all wives who want to strengthen their marriage through vital prayer–from new pray-ers to the seasoned prayer warriors. At each monthly meeting a calendar of prayer topics for our husbands will be provided. Online weekly reminders of the topics we are praying for will be available as well, should you wish to sign up. Our meetings will start promptly and child care is available. You are invited to be a part of an amazing prayer experience. Please plan to join us! Questions? Promiseland Chatter-January 2011
Happy New Year! We ended last year with about forty children participating in an awesome Christmas musical. The sanctuary was full of proud parents and grandparents who enjoyed the program and shared a meal afterwards. A few brave souls went out caroling to our neighbors in very cold weather. It was fun and we hope to do it again next year.
