July Prayer Calendar
If you didn’t get a free July calendar last Sunday, you can pick up one at Riverside this Sunday! It may not solve all your scheduling struggles, but it can help you make time with your Father. Take the calendar and put it on your fridge, with your Bible, by your bed, but not in the recycling bin! Use it to prompt your prayers for your Riverside family and God’s people everywhere. And if you can’t wait until Sunday to get a copy, you can download one right now. See the attached….
Riverside Church Picnic 2011
Plan to join the Riverside Family for a picnic at Happy Hollow Park just off Happy Hollow Rd. in West Lafayette on Sunday, July 10, right after the second service. Meat and drinks will be provided. Sign up to bring a vegetable, salad or dessert by filling out this form.
Riverside Congregational Meeting
On Sunday, June 26 there will be a congregational meeting following the 2nd worship service. At this meeting Riverside will review our 2011-2012 budget. Please plan to attend.
Baptisms & Child Dedications
What follows is a brief explanation of the differences between child dedication, infant baptism, and believer baptism. Riverside chooses to respect the biblical positions of both infant and believer baptism equally. Devoted followers of Christ have held each of these views and there is room for both in the Body of Christ. These explanations are very brief and may prompt additional questions. Please speak to Pastor Dan if you have any questions or would like to discuss dedication or baptism further. Each is vital to the life of Riverside and our relationship to God.
