Fantanstic Serving Dish Swaray
Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009So that's my attempt at being funny since we weren't supposed to have a Super Bowl Party this past Sunday-I think I'm the only one that chuckled.:) So in the grand tradition of Super Bowl Sunday we all gathered around the flat screen, brought appetizers, chips, pop, hot dogs, and I actually bought a crock-pot and made mac n' cheese, and we watched what really was an awesome football game. Tuesday, January 27th, 2009Another fun week with the Riverside students-we made it to several games this week which was a ton of fun! Miranda had a half-time dance show at Benton Central so we drove, and drove, and drove and finally got out there-it was awesome. I did get some funny looks from some farm kids with my purple hair though!! We also went ice skating on Saturday and learned that the Fisher's mom is AMAZING
Miagi-go Karate
Tuesday, January 20th, 2009So I got the chance to introduce the Riverside students to one of the best 80's movies ever made, The Karate Kid. After several eye rolls and references made about my lack of taste we started the film-after 5 minutes they were hooked!! Hah!

So...we got a big van stuck in the snow on the way there, we were 3 hours late, and the next morning we were told that skiing was going to be twice as expensive. BUT!!!

Tuesday, December 16th, 2008We had an awesome weekend of fellowship with the students! We started with a Friday night JH guys movie night-we played a little ping-pong, I totally lost which was a huge hit to my ego, but still alot of fun-then we watched Goonies, rather we made fun of the special effects in Goonies (I still think it's a pretty cool movie, but I can see how it doesn't stand up to movies made 2 whole decade
Tag and a Birthday!
Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008What a wild and crazy Sunday we had this week! Junior High got to munch on Jimmy Johns while Mark beat me at ping-pong, then after an attempt at Bible Apples to Apples we ended up running around the church playing tag-of course with the disclaimer that the first person to knock over a candy cane would have to sit and read Leviticus! As parents were arriving to pick them up, they were promptly
