The purpose of Youth Ministry at Riverside is to develop Christian character in our young people, teach and practice the spiritual disciplines, explore spiritual gifts and avenues of ministry, learn to be servants both within the church and in the community, train and encourage personal evangelism and outreach, and encourage good decision-making based on Biblical truth.
At Riverside we provide a safe environment for students to explore their faith-ask the tough questions, get real with what is happening in their lives, and then give them the tools to grow in the Lord. We believe that young people have a great capacity for love and compassion, and encourage them to reach out to friends and family to show them Christ's love. We just want to live FOR and LIKE Jesus!
