We believe Riverside’s Sunday worship gatherings are important, but we also believe that everyone needs a more personal place to talk about what God is doing in our lives. In order to mature in our faith, we need to live the ups and downs of life with a smaller group of people that we can trust, laugh with, and learn from. Riverside calls these groups “Pods.”
Riverside Pods are where we find spiritual conversation and authentic community among a small group of people. We think of them as mini-churches that meet during the week.
Riverside’s Pods are an engaging environment for you to be yourself no matter where you are on your spiritual journey. Our Pods will not force you to speak or pray if you wish to be silent, require you to be a Bible expert, or expect you to pretend to be different than you are.
At the same time, we gently call one another to live the grander vision of a Jesus-shaped life, fitting our own short stories into the great Story of God as described in the Bible. As we share life together, we seek to become who we are made to be.
Our Pods intend to be redemptive places where we grow personally, grow together, grow in Christ, and grow in serving others.
