Prayer

Use Riverside’s monthly prayer calendar as a jumping off point in communication with our Lord.  We know God wants us to pray to Him, and we know we should pray more, so let the prayer calendar help you.  From prayers for personal spiritual growth to praying to others in our church, community, nation and around the world, the calendar will be a good start in communicating with God.  It’s also a great tool to facilitate prayer with your children.  We even have 2 year olds who use it!  Just print it out and get started yourself!

We’ve moved WOW to the 3rd Sunday of each month starting now—October.  Satan is waging a war on marriage and would like nothing better than to get a stronghold in your Christian marriage.  Prayer for your husband is needed—you can stand in the gap for your man.  Don’t be too busy to pray!  Join us this Sunday, October 16th in the prayer/copy room in the white house during first service, aka 9:00 a.m.

This week is Riverside's week to walk our neighborhoods and pray.  Diane Kelley and the Prayer Team have put together an awesome guide to help you as you walk.  You can read and print the guide HERE.

Looking for a way to participate in the life of Riverside—join a prayer team!  We have teams to pray for the needs of the congregation and for Pastor Dan and his family.  Each group has multiple teams, so that it’s not overwhelming.  You commit to praying for only 1 of every 3 or 4 months—you can handle that!  We also have an e-mail team—just pray when you open a prayer request via e-mail.  No meetings required for these teams!

Pray for the church and its different ministries on Sunday mornings.  Just sign-up and commit to praying during one service a month.  We meet in the prayer room (in white house) to pray.  You can pray silently or aloud.  It’s not scary—it’s quite peaceful and encouraging!  Can’t do one service a month, we can also do every other month or whatever fits your schedule.
