Riverside Covenant Church is a community of people that help each other follow Jesus, connect with one another in authentic relationships, and partner together to transform the world. We are young and old, just exploring faith and mature followers of Jesus, introverts and extroverts, and so on. Come as you. Though everyone is in a different place in their lives, we share a common desire to learn more about Jesus and to explore how to follow him. You can learn more about what we believe here.
Our mission is to “glorify God by becoming disciples of Jesus Christ who share life in authentic community and transform the world through God’s love, truth and power.”
Riverside Covenant Church began meeting in 2000 as a church plant of Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC) in Lafayette, Indiana. ECC wanted to greater influence for Jesus in West Lafayette. Riverside did not have a permanent gathering place for our first five years of existence, but instead gathered for its first three years at the University Inn and Conference Center in West Lafayette and then spent two years gathering at Burnett Creek Elementary School. In April of 2006, by God’s grace and provision, we purchased an existing church building in the heart of West Lafayette and only a mile from the Purdue University campus.
Riverside now gathers at 1850 Woodland Avenue (near the corner of Salisbury and Lindberg) in West Lafayette, Indiana. Our Sunday worship gatherings are at 9am and 10:45am. Each worship service is identical. You can learn more about what to expect on Sundays here.
Riverside serves and lives out our mission together through our various ministry teams. You can explore all of our ministries here.
