Cleaning doesn’t necessarily conjure up thoughts of Jesus, but this week we got a chance to love on the people at Starbucks by cleaning their bathrooms and cafes for them! The baristas were a little shocked, and the customers just didn’t understand why all these kids were picking up trash and mopping-why would a youth group do that? Well that’s just it-we’re a youth group-we love Jesus-and we want to outwardly show others that love without expecting anything in return. Now to be honest, the Sagamore store gave us hot chocolate for our work, which was awesome!! The kids didn’t complain for one second-so we’ll continue our quest to get out to the community on Wednesdays to see who we can love on next!
