The hardest part about freely giving things away is that we want to claim that they are ours. We convince ourselves that we are entitled to what we have, that we have worked hard for our stuff, and that no one deserves any of it unless they prove worthy. Thank goodness that God did not feel this way when contemplating whether to send Jesus Christ to us.
Facility Manager and member of Riverside Covenant Church, Malcolm Springs, was recently awarded Teacher of the Year at East Tippecanoe Middle School by the Tippecanoe School Corporation.
Many of you know that when we purchased our new building we received a loan from National Covenant Properties (NCP) an organizaton affiliated with the Evangelical Covenant Denomination. They lend money to churches at competitive or lower interest rates, and the interest we pay is loaned out again to help build other churches. A win-win situation so to speak.
