We have the unique opportunity in a town like West Lafayette, with a University like Purdue, to host incoming international students in our homes for a few days before the Fall semester starts. Imagine moving to a new place without knowing anyone, without speaking the language as your first language, without knowing the culture you are entering. This is what international students face, especially if they haven’t located a place to live yet. If you are interested in helping an international student by giving them a bed to sleep in, some meals, and helping them learn the town, showing them around to grocery shop or setting up a bank account, please contact Rick Whitlock (rwhitlock@rcovenant.org) and he will answer your questions and connect you with a student or two.
Welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God (Romans 15:7).
