God calls us to feed the hungry! (James 2:14-18; 1 John 3:17-18, etc.) There are many people in our community that rely on local food pantries to provide food for their families, but these pantries often struggle to keep their shelves stocked. We are prepared to help meet this need and have partnered with several local ministries in need of volunteers and food. This means a constant Riverside food drive! As often as you are able, grab some non-perishable food and bring it to our Sunday worship gatherings. Bins will be located towards the back of the sanctuary to put your donations in. If you would prefer to make a financial contribution, simply make your check out to “Riverside” and write “food pantry” in the memo line. If you are interested in volunteering at a food pantry, please contact the Riverside office at [email protected] or 765.463.4600.
