At the end of August, Brenda Fassnacht announced that she would be resigning her position as Women’s Ministry Director in order to respond to God’s call in other directions. You can read more about Brenda’s decision here.
Over the past month the Riverside Leadership Team has been discerning with other leaders how best to formulate a staff position that will continue to help women follow Jesus and further Riverside’s broader mission. With this goal in mind the Leadership Team has enhanced the previous job description by focusing on discipleship, collaboration with other leaders, equipping new leaders, and facilitating opportunties for women to be involved in all Riverside ministries.
The Leadership Team has selected Brenda Fassnacht, Nancy Umbeck, Amy Fisher, Stephanie Stout, Brandi Moeschberger, and Dan Teefey to serve on a Search Team to fill this position.
