What a wild and crazy Sunday we had this week! Junior High got to munch on Jimmy Johns while Mark beat me at ping-pong, then after an attempt at Bible Apples to Apples we ended up running around the church playing tag-of course with the disclaimer that the first person to knock over a candy cane would have to sit and read Leviticus! As parents were arriving to pick them up, they were promptly ignored by the students because the game wasn't over yet!!!!!! Once they were all safely in their vehicles Lanie, River and I starting decorating the welcome center(with lots of help from Kaitlin) for a surprise b-day party for Lacey's 18th birthday!!!! It was awesome-tons of cake and pizza to top off the surprise. Ryan had to tell a few fibs to get Lacey in the building without suspecting a thing and it worked! She was so happy to see everyone-including some friends from school-and even more excited that her momma hadn't forgotten her big day!! We had a great rest of the evening doing life together and playing a much more successful round of Bible Apples to Apples-with Ryan taking the win. It was just fantastic getting everyone back together after a long week of everyone traveling, family feuds, and too much pumpkin pie!!!
