Youth Discipleship (grades 6–12)
Riverside’s Youth Discipleship Ministry exists to help students learn to love God and others for life through Jesus.
Riverside provides a safe environment for Jr. High and High School students to explore their faith, ask the tough questions, get real with what is happening in their lives, and develop tools to grow in the Lord. We believe that students have a great capacity for love and compassion and encourage them to reach out to friends and family to show them Christ’s love. We want to help teenagers develop “sticky faith” that helps them transition into adulthood and stick with Jesus by following him throughout their lives.
Our youth meet on Sunday afternoons for a time of fellowship and prayer. We also offer two midweek programs: A study through the Bible for junior high students and a more in-depth discussion on life and faith for high school students.
