Treat Your Bible Like Your Cell Phone

2 Timothy 3:16-17 "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that all God's people may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

I don't often appreciate email forwards, but I received this one and thought that it was a fair critique of our priorities. If we want to do God's work, we must know God's Word.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we flipped through it several times a day?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to our kids as gifts?

What if we used it when we traveled?

What if we used it in cases of emergency?

What if we cared as much about God's Word as we do our cell phone?

A bible in your phone

Hi,

I enjoyed this message.  It's true.  We need to interact with our bibles daily.  I downloaded a bible into my mobile phone and have it with me all the time.  I use the Tecarta Talking King James Bible which is free.
