So Gospel Journey Maui is now in full swing! We have our favorites and those we think should be kicked off the island so to speak-but one thing is for sure-the students are talking about their relationship with Jesus while sipping tropical smoothies. We're getting into the deep stuff like why are we here? What is our purpose? It's awesome to have engaging conversations each week that leave your head spinning and heart bursting for more of Jesus!! I forgot to add last week that we had a very full Valentine's Day. We got up not-so-early since none of us enjoy that, had brunch at my house that was devoured in 2.2 seconds, did some bowling, and ended the afternoon handing out flowers to people living at the Veteran's home! I also had the opportunity to enjoy a very close basketball game starring our very own Lexy Madrid and a not so close game where Shelby seriously stomped on the other team!! Our newest youth grouper-Aspen-and I got to know eachother better while making cookies for the firemen that put out a fire on her street last week-it was awesome eating cookie dough, sharing some pretty cool stuff about our lives and drinking 42 oz. big gulps. Did I mention that I need to use that gym membership a little more?? All in all the last two weeks have been pretty darn amazing-I'm so excited to see them every week and dive into what Jesus has in store!!
