Riverside’s Small Groups provide the opportunity for authentic community and spiritual conversation among a small group of people. We think of them as mini-churches where people connect deeply in Christian community. Our Sunday morning worship gatherings are important, but not enough. Jesus followers also need to live the ups and downs of life with a smaller group of people that they can trust, laugh with, and learn from. Though every Riverside Small Group is different because of the uniqueness of its people, all Riverside Small Groups 1) talk about the Bible, 2) pray, 3) share about life, 4) discuss their personal evangelism efforts, and 5) work together to serve our local community.
Riverside's Small Groups are a safe environment for you to be yourself no matter where you are on your spiritual journey. Our Small Groups will not force you to speak or pray if you wish to be silent, require you to be a Bible expert, or expect you to pretend to be different than you are.
Let us know if you are ready to join a Small Group. There are always opportunities to join existing Small Groups or to be a part of a new Small Group.
