The purposes of Youth Ministry at Riverside are to encourage friendships among church youth, develop Christian character and practice of spiritual disciplines, explore spiritual gifts and avenues of ministry and service both within the church and in the community, train and encourage personal evangelism and outreach, and foster good decision-making based upon the Bible and a life of spiritual wors
30 Hour Famine
Saturday, February, 9th, 2008The Riverside Jr. High Youth Group will begin their 30 Hour Famine after lunch on Friday, February 22 then meet at Riverside at 6:30 that evening for a lock-in, ending with a "Break-Fast" at 6:30 pm, Saturday, February 23. All sponsors are invited to share in the "Break-Fast" meal on Saturday evening.
Junior High Youth Activities

The Junior High Youth leave service for Sunday School in the youth room downstairs. Volunteers lead the group through a short lesson concerning the biblical perspective to everyday issues; the remainder of the time is filled with fun and fellowship. The Youth Group time of fellowship is Sunday evenings from 7 to 8pm.
