Riverside’s Leadership Team is committed to keeping you up to date on our work regarding Riverside’s facilities. We have regularly provided updates every few months.
In our last update, we mentioned that we had begun working with ArKor architects and engineers to determine what a new facility that meets Riverside’s needs might cost. This process involves ArKor assessing our current facility usage, conversing with our staff and ministry leaders, and then developing a possible floor plan. Riverside has received a $10,000 grant from the Center for Congregations to help fund this effort and the Leadership Team, staff and ministry leaders have begun to meet with ArKor to discuss facility needs. After the series of meetings, ArKor will compile what they have heard and put together a plan that will help us discern our next steps. We look forward to sharing their plan with you when we reach that point.
No decisions have been made to build a new building, but this information will help us determine the cost to build if we choose together to move in that direction. No final decisions will be made without congregational conversations and discernment. We always appreciate any ideas or input you may have. You can email the Riverside Leadership Team at email@example.com.
As always, we covet your prayers and ideas and will continue to keep you informed as we discern God’s will together.
