Benjamin Franklin Transatlantic Fellows Summer Institute (BFTF) is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and is coming to Purdue University. The Institute offers a combination of interactive classes, seminars, workshops, webinars, and teleconferences presented by prominent scholars and specialists in international relations, diplomacy, communication, media, civic education, and science.
For part of their time at Purdue, the Fellows will be staying in a dormitory, but for 10 days they are counting on a home stay experience. Families are needed to host BFTF 2014 Fellows. The pick-up date is Friday, July 11th (after the reception) or the morning of Saturday, July 12th. The conclusion is early morning on Monday, July 21st. All Fellows are English speaking and have gone through a rigourous selection process.
