We got down and got chilly at the Purdue game this Saturday selling hot chocolate with JL HUfford-we saw some die-hard fans with body paint and no coats!! Where were their mothers? We also got to rake leaves for the math grad students and then Brandon twisted our arms to go get Hershey’s Chocolate Dippers at Pizza Hut!! They are seriously delicious if you haven’t had them-they are highly endorsed by the youth! It was such a great weekend for hanging out and being real and God came through in like 6 ways over a 48 hour period! Who wants to give up their Saturday to work at a freezing cold football game-well I was having trouble getting enough help-prayed, gave it up to the Lord-an hour later I had more than enough help. I had never worked a game before-didn’t know where to park, where to go, what to do really-God took care of it all! We got to take the Jeep off-roading, drove between a couple houses on a sidewalk, found our JL Hufford lady, and sold a ton of hot chocolate!!Who wants to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon working in the yard? (well, me, but I think I’m a little weird) We had 3 kids get the job done in an hour, and had some fun playing with Ryan’s leaf vacuum/mulcher too! God was so good to us this weekend and really showed His provision for our youth as He helped make our fundraisors successful-in dollar amount AND with great fellowship!!!
