Riverside has a clothing closet and we are wanting to open it up to our neighbors on Saturday, August 16th, 1:00-3:00. We are communicating to the West Lafayette Elementary, Intermediate School and High School to get the word out to their families about this opportunity.
We are looking for a few people who would: 1) be willing to help with setting out clothing the week prior to the event or 2) be interested in engaging the families who might stop by; to talk with them, help them in finding the items that they might be looking for, whatever they might need, or 3) all the above😊 . We currently have adult clothing, but could use:
- Children’s clothing–both boys and girls, all sizes
- Children’s coats and boots–both boys and girls, all sizes
- Winter hats and gloves, kids and adult sizes
- Socks and underwear (new only please) in kids and adult sizes
With all donations, we ask that the items be clean and gently used. We also ask that we stick to clothing and footwear only. Please, no purses, bags, hygiene products, etc. as we currently do not have the room. Thank you!
