Wednesday, May 3, 7:00 p.m. at Riverside
Join us for an evening of hanging out and creating together, coffee-house style. Local potter/ceramist, Janice Brower, will be there with a variety of ceramics to purchase and paint (ranging from $6 to $35) and all of her paints and pottery-painting utensils (think “All Fired Up”).* If painting pottery is not your thing, you can bring a project of your own to work on: a scarf you’re knitting, pants you need to hem, recipes you need to organize, papers that need to be graded, or graduation invitations that need to be addressed (this list could be endless!). We’ll have tables set up, chocolates strewn about, a coffee bar, and a “coffee house playlist” playing in the background. Come alone or bring a friend and join us for an evening of fun and fellowship together.
*For planning purposes, we need an approximate headcount of how many women will be painting pottery.
If you plan on painting pottery, please plan on arriving between 7:00-7:30, as starting any later than this may not allow enough time to complete your painting project. Janice will bring a variety of ceramics to choose from, but your response on the sign up form will help her determine what items to bring. If you choose “other,” let us know what you’d like to paint, and if Janice has it, we’ll make sure she brings it. “Undecided” means you’re happy to just choose from her options that night.
Janice will fire the pottery at her home and they’ll be ready to pick up at church by mid-May (we’ll email you with details when they’re ready).
You can pay Janice with cash, Venmo, or credit card at the event.
Please sign up below to paint pottery and click “submit”. If you have any questions, please contact Kim Wood or the church office.

Will there be any pottery already done that we can buy if we don’t want to paint pottery?
Kim says
Hi Colleen – Janice does sell painted pottery/ceramics. Her shop is currently “closed” right now while she’s making a whole line of items to sell, but she does have a few pieces listed on her website. If you like any of the pieces you see and want to purchase one, let me know. She can bring it with her and you can purchase it that night. Here’s the link: https://www.janicecreative.com/collections/ceramics
Hope this helps!
