Don’t give in to the myth that gods are only statues that people long ago worshiped. Pleasure, romance, sex, money, and power are just a few of the gods that vie for our allegiance in today’s society. Behind the sin you’re struggling with, the
discouragement you’re dealing with, the lack of purpose you’re living with is a false god that is winning the war for your heart. Join with other guys from Riverside as we explore these gods and the one true God that destroys them. Using true, powerful and honest testimonies of those who have struggled in each area, gods at war illustrates a clear path away from the heartache of our 21st century idolatry back to the heart of God – enabling us to truly be completely committed followers of Jesus.
This 6 week study will meet on Tuesdays, beginning February 4th, from 7:00 – 8:30pm. Another group will meet on Thursday mornings beginning February 6th from 6:30-8am. You can sign up below.
