Make Riverside’s Discovery Hour a priority for the faith development of your family! This is an especially important time for your children. Every Sunday at 9AM, Riverside offers intentional faith development for all ages. We dedicate a great deal of time and resources in making this the best part of your children’s week. Don’t let them miss out.
On Sunday, September 13 Riverside will celebrate our Promiseland Children’s Ministry. We will primarily emphasize the 9AM Promiseland Discovery Hour that happens every Sunday. Promiseland Discovery Hour is a dynamic, Biblical and Christ-centered ministry designed to meet kids where they are at in their spiritual journeys and then to lead them into a relationship with Jesus Christ that is authentic and lasting. All lessons are designed for children and relevant to their daily lives. Children at Riverside Covenant Church learn together in a safe and positive atmosphere that fosters fun, fellowship, and faith.
On September 13, children will also switch to their new classrooms in both the Promiseland Discovery Hour and Children’s Church based upon their current age or grade.
New adult Discovery Hour classes will begin too. Dave Timmerman will be leading a class on Parenting (Dave is currently leading a class on Christian creeds) and Pastor Dan will be leading a class on the Evangelical Covenant Church distinctives.
