What brought you to Riverside? How long have you been here?
We were on the hunt for a church in August 2008 when I (Amber) met this nice girl (Dana Teefey) at the park. She invited me to go the pool with her friends, and the rest is history. Imagine our mutual surprise when we discovered that we live around the corner from each other! We feel so blessed that God brought us to Riverside!
What do you do for fun?
We love to spend time together as a family, especially with Dannie’s extended family on his parents’ farm. Dannie and the boys love wrestling or playing games on the Wii. I (Amber) love to escape to the kitchen and cook, one my favorite hobbies. We’re also enjoying working on house projects in the summer, and are always up for a cookout or coffee with friends and family.
What is a fun fact or memory about you?
Dannie and I only dated for two months before we got engaged, and were married five months later. That was over 11 years ago. We would have been engaged after only a month of dating, but we thought that short time period would freak people out, so we waited two months instead. Wow . . . big extension. Ha! Seems so ridiculous now.
