Hello, Riverside family! As we continue in this interesting season, we are in the rhythm of looking for new ways to meet the need for fellowship in worship, while our building remains closed. In an effort to provide a safe in-person worship service, while maintaining the live stream for those who are not able to meet in person, we are going to try out holding an outdoor second service, starting Sunday, September 13. This will be a simplified, low-tech version of the live stream service. Check out the details below…
When: 11:00AM on Sundays
Where: Kurt and Missy Watt’s home
833 N 500 W
West Lafayette, IN 47906
What: Simple outdoor worship service
Sermon (same as live stream)
Prayer
Simple worship songs
Bring: Chairs/blanket to sit on
Masks
We ask that those who attend these outdoor worship services remember to maintain a physical distance of at least 6 feet between family groups at all times (before, during, and after the service) and bring masks, for times when physical distancing is not possible. In case of dreary weather, we will hold the service in the Watt’s barn, with the door open. In case of bad weather, we will cancel the outdoor service. Look for these notices on Facebook and our website.
Please spread the word, to be sure that everyone knows about this opportunity! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
God bless,
Riverside Staff

I would love to participate in this but it is already to cool in the mornings to have them in the morning. Sometime in the afternoon or early evening would be better given the current temperatures. This really should be taken into consideration.
