One of the ways that Riverside serves our local community is through Family Promise, an organization that provides temporary shelter in church buildings for families facing a housing crisis. Would you consider serving homeless families in our community through our partnership with Family Promise?
Riverside is hosting a volunteer training that will teach you about Family Promise’s work and equip you to compassionately provide and serve meals, interact with guests, stay overnight with guests, or drive guests around in our community. This training is required for all our Family Promise volunteers and is a great way to get involved in combating homelessness in our community.
The training will be at Riverside’s building on Wednesday, February 17 from 6:30-8PM. Anyone who is 18 years and older is invited to participate. Family Promise Director, Laurie Mann, will facilitate the training. Those interested should sign up via the form below. If you have questions contact Linda Bogan at [email protected] or 765.589.7540.
