Thanks to all who have faithfully been bringing in milk jugs for our laundry soap production ministry. With your help, our soap making team continues to provide adequate supplies for the Lafayette Transitional Housing Center, Family Promise, Salvation Army and the YWCA Women’s Domestic Violence Shelter. It is such a blessing to see hundreds of families cared for in this manner. With your ongoing help, we hope to continue to bless others in our community in this simple yet very inexpensive and necessary way.
However, transport and storage of the filled milk jugs requires the use of milk crates that are made specifically for that purpose. Therefore, we are sorry to say that we cannot use any Ice Mountain bottled water jugs, jugs with snap-on lids, nor odd size containers of any kind, because they don’t fit in the crates. But please continue to provide us with cleanly rinsed 1/2 and 1 gallon standard milk, tea, juice or water jugs (except Ice Mountain brand) with screw-on lids. You may simply leave them in the kitchen (the room behind the sanctuary platform) at your convenience. Thank you.
