Note from Dar Muehlhausen

In recent weeks Riverside’s Children’s Discipleship Director, Dar Muehlhausen, has notified Riverside’s Leadership Team and Children’s Ministry Team and teachers that she will be resigning from her position this year. After 8 years in the position and many more in other Riverside Children’s Ministry roles she believes it is time to step away and pursue other aspects of God’s call on her life. Dar will continue in her position until a replacement is found and to help them transition into the role as needed.

Dar has dedicated herself to helping Riverside’s children learn about and grow to follow Jesus and we are thankful for her leadership and wisdom over the years. Her work will leave a lasting impression on the children and families she has impacted through Riverside’s Children’s Ministry.

It has been a privilege and joy to lead this ministry for the last eight years. I have loved it and it has been a perfect fit for this season of my life. I believe God is releasing me to pass this privilege to someone else now. I have been so blessed and encouraged by the faithfulness the teachers and other Children’s Ministry volunteers have displayed over the years. I will miss all of them and the kids very much!
