Riverside is getting on board with Greater Lafayette Family Promise to help area homeless families recover their independence. Volunteer training will be offered Sunday, November 13 at noon at RCC for anyone interested in helping with this ministry. Lunch and childcare will be provided. Mark your calendars now and sign up for the training in the back of the sanctuary today. RCC’s first outreach opportunity will be 11/27/11 through 12/4/11 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Service opportunities will include homework help, furniture moving, set up and tear down, snack and meal preparation, day center and social activities, guest transportation, overnight supervision, etc. Signups for host activities will be available soon.
