Women’s Ministries “spring semester” Bible studies begin Wednesday, January 21. As we continue to grow in our relationship with God and “Seek Him First” this year, we will be reading and discussing Psalms 61-90. In the introduction to his devotional book, The Songs of Jesus, Timothy Keller writes “The psalms help us to see God . . . ” and they “. . .bring us to Jesus.” These thirty psalms in particular remind us to worship God and call us to draw near to Him because He has drawn near to us. Our hope is that as we read these psalms together, they will help us answer this this question: “If we want to seek God, what should we say, do, and pray?”
This bible study requires no homework, other than reading the chapters for that week. When we come together on Wednesdays, we’ll share together what we’ve discovered and learned, as well as discuss any questions we might have.
The full 12-week study begins Wednesday, January 22 and ends Wednesday, May 6 (with a few weeks off in between. A session and reading calendar will be given on the first day.
We’d love to have you join us – whether you’ve been studying the Bible for years or are just getting started!
