Women’s Bible studies begin next week, Wednesday, September 3! We will be studying the gospel of Matthew as we explore the women’s ministry’s theme for this year: Seek Him First. Matthew 6:33 tells us to “Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness . . . “ and the book of Matthew itself is a great place to begin that search. Filled with the core teachings of Jesus – through the Sermon on the Mount, the Lord’s Prayer, and numerous parables – Matthew presents Jesus as King and the fulfillment of many Old Testament prophecies.
This 12-week study begins Wednesday, September 3 and ends Wednesday, December 3 (with a few weeks off in-between). A session and reading calendar will be given on the first day. There’s no homework (other than reading the assigned Bible selections for that week). When we come together on Wednesdays, we’ll share together what we’ve discovered and learned and/or ask questions about what we’ve read.
We’d love to have you join us as we “Seek Him First” through His Word (And it doesn’t matter if you’ve been studying the Bible for years or are just getting started. You’ll fit right in no matter where you are on the Bible-reading spectrum!).
