Riverside has three ways for you to submit prayer requests: Online, Email and Prayer Box. You can submit requests 24/7 on our website at www.rcovenant.org by going to the “Contact” box on the left and then clicking on “Prayer”. The request will find it’s way to a prayer team. If you’d rather, simply email Diane Kelley at [email protected], and she’ll get it to the prayer warriors. If you prefer to jot us a hand written note, just drop it in the wooden Prayer Box in the back of the sanctuary. It’s a privilege to pray, so let us take your burdens to the Lord for you. Furthermore, if you’d like to join us in praying for our Riverside family, please contact Diane at the address above and she’ll get you plugged into a rotating prayer team.

Promiseland Chatter-September 2010
Hallelujah! We have survived four Sundays of two services without any problems down in Promiseland. GOD IS SO GOOD. We have all classes covered with teachers and helpers and the kids are already asking when they get to shop in the Promisemart Store. They will shop every six weeks, so the first time this fall will be October 10.
Two New Sunday Morning Prayer Studies
The new release of Jim Cymbala’s “When God’s People Pray” will be offered on Sunday mornings from Oct. 3 to Nov. 7 during both services. Come join us at 9:00 or 10:45 a.m. in the white house for dynamic teaching by Pastor, Speaker and Author Jim Cymbala of the world renowned Brooklyn Tabernacle. Dramatic prayer testimonials and small group discussion will be included in this six-week study facilitated by Diane Kelley and Linda Bogan.
Come. See for yourself the wonder of this powerful thing called prayer that God has commanded each of us to do. Sign up in the back of the sanctuary this week. Study guides will be available for $7. Join us as the prayer movement at Riverside continues. You won’t be disappointed! Questions? Contact [email protected].
Baptisms and Subaru Family WHAT? Day
This weekend was super exciting because 2 youth and 4 adults got BAPTIZED!!!!! It was so amazing-we went out to Fort Ouiatenon, it was a more than beautiful day, each person shared a part of their testimony and why they were getting baptized, and then we took them down to the river to actually get dunked!! We worshiped together, cried together, and praised the Lord for the obedience and authenticity of those that participated-it was seriously awesome. There’s just something about completing the circle when you’ve invited Christ to live in your heart and then you declare publicly how you feel about what He has done for you!!!! We also got the chance to participate in trash pick-up at the Subaru Family Fun Day-we weren’t quite aware of what we were getting into, but everyone who came was a great sport about it. Let’s just say 5500 people, applesauce, macaroni and cheese, chicken, pork chops, and barbeque sauce don’t make for the yummiest trash cans.
