Men join us on August 27th at 9AM for a shotgun start at Harrison Hills Country Club in Attica.  The cost is $35 for 18 holes of golf, cart, and lunch afterwards.  We will have prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin on specific holes.  We encourage the men of Riverside to invite friends and family to enjoy a great day of golf.  Contact Zach Brennan with questions at office@rcovenant.org.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Men’s Bible studies will begin examining the Book of Hebrews together the week of June 13.  Riverside has two identical men’s Bible studies that run weekly throughout the year: Monday evenings at 7pm and Thursday mornings at 6:30am.  Both studies are at Riverside’s main building.

There is no study guide or book to purchase.  We simply use our Bibles for the study.  If you don’t have a Bible, we will give you one.  Each week we begin with prayer and then read the Bible passage together.  We then discuss the passage’s meaning and applicability to our lives.  After approximately 1.5 hours, we end with a closing prayer.  

Everyone is welcome regardless of your experience with the Bible.  Join us at any time or every week.  The schedule for the Book of Hebrews study is below.

Last year we had 28 people signed up.  Our goal for this year is to have at least 30 men make the commitment of attending this retreat.

If money is an issue, please let Zach Brennan or Pastor Dan know.  There are funds available through ECC and we have always been told that NO ONE will be left out due to cost.  It will be covered.

I know there are a million reasons not to go.  My biggest reason not to attend is because of my kids and my wife who is currently pregnant.  I hate leaving her at home all weekend with the kids.  I just know two years ago this retreat caused me to make some major changes in my role as a husband and a father.  Without this retreat I would not be the person I am today.  And that is the honest truth.
