You are invited! Bring some friends to join in as we gather to “Refresh, Refocus, Rejoice!” at the 2nd annual Spring Celebration, April 8-9, 2011, hosted this year at Evangelical Covenant Church in Lafayette.
WOW (Women Of the WORD) is a group of women from Riverside who meets monthly to pray for our husbands. We intercede on behalf of their spiritual lives, friends, jobs, integrity, generosity, etc.
WOW meets at Riverside the first Tuesday of every month from 6:30-8:00 p.m. It’s for all wives who want to strengthen their marriage through vital prayer–from new pray-ers to the seasoned prayer warriors. At each monthly meeting a calendar of prayer topics for our husbands will be provided. Online weekly reminders of the topics we are praying for will be available as well, should you wish to sign up. Our meetings will start promptly and child care is available. You are invited to be a part of an amazing prayer experience. Please plan to join us! Questions? Author Kelly Minter challenges us to put everything down and learn what it really means to have no other gods before the one true God.
The study will begin with a kickoff Fellowship dinner on January 12th (the fellowship dinner is for the wednesday evening and thursday morning).
Saturday morning, December 4th, the women of Riverside enjoyed a beautiful time of worship, fellowship, reflection and fun. We began our morning braving a little snow and slick roads to get to Dar Muehlhausen’s house.
Ladies of Riverside, please plan to attend the Women’s Christmas Brunch on December 4th at Dar Muehlhausen’s home, 5187 Moores Bay Road, West Lafayette. Festivities will begin at 9am, including bell ringing, carol singing, craft making, and a speaker sharing. Bring a brunch dish to share and a friend too!
