Now that school is in full swing, we have some reminders for Promiseland parents.

September 13th is Promotion and Bible Presentation Sunday.  The children will be in the worship service until the offering.  If your child is being promoted, please be sure your child knows to which room he will go.  1st-graders and 2-year-olds will be receiving a Bible during the service.  If you have not yet notified the office about your child receiving one, please do so now.

We are praising our Promiseland children for reaching their mission goal of $130.  They purchased one goat, four ducks, and two chickens for a family in another country.  This was accomplished in approximately three months.  Their new goal will be to help build a school and purchase school supplies.  We are very proud of our kids and their willingness to give back to God a portion of what He gives them.

We started June off with an appreciation picnic for Promiseland volunteers.  About thirty-five of us gathered at a Happy Hollow shelter for dinner, games, and fun fellowship.  It looked like rain all day, but, as usual, God was good and held off the rain until we were done.  Everyone left with full tummies and Sand Art Brownies in a jar.

Today during the service Tara Madrid shared via video message, the impact that the PromiseLand program is having on her son and those he is interacting with in the community.
