About Us

Riverside Covenant Church has a casual and contemporary worship style that seeks to authentically connect people of all ages with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Our Sunday worship service is centered on the Bible and seeks to convey God's Word truthfully and relevantly. Our worship is enhanced by our worship band and the use of drama, stories, and various other visuals.

The mission of Riverside Covenant Church is to "glorify God by becoming disciples of Jesus Christ who share life in authentic community and transform the world through God's love, truth and power."

Riverside Covenant Church was founded in 2000 as a church plant of Evangelical Covenant Church in Lafayette, Indiana. We did not have a permanent gathering place for our first five years of existence. For the first three years, we met at the University Inn and Conference Center in West Lafayette and then spent two years meeting at Burnett Creek Elementary School. In April of 2006, by God's grace and provision, we purchased an existing church building in the heart of West Lafayette and only a mile from the Purdue University Campus.

Riverside now gathers at 1850 Woodland Avenue (near the corner of Salisbury and Lindberg) in West Lafayette, Indiana. Our Sunday worship services are at 9am and 10:45am. We have many exciting ministry teams, including our Nursery, Children and Youth Ministry Teams, that can be explored at Our Ministries.
