Thank You Message from a Church in Thailand!

At Riverside we have the privilige of supporting a number of missionaries both in the United States and throughout the world.  Allan Witkowski, one of those missionaires, sent this message from a church in Thailand that he is going to visit and provide training over the week

From Allan:

The video below is to a short video greeting being sent from a Lisu church in Thailand.  They want to send their greetings to all the people and churches back in the USA that are partnering with the Lisu people to advance the gospel throughout India and SE Asia.  It is churches like this one that will use the Kairos Course in the Lisu language to prepare their members to reach out to the 1000 tribes around them that have not yet heard the gospel.   The church in this video is a sister church with the churches in the field we call Dawnlight.

We Are On a Roll

The last few weeks we have collected sheets, ripped them into strips and sewn them into even longer strips and now they are ready to be rolled.  These rolled strips will be sent to the Congo where they will be used for bandages.

Guatemala Trip Update!

31 people have officially joined Riverside’s Guatemala Mission Team! The team will travel to San Raimundo, Guatemala from June 3-9, 2012 to build not just one home, but TWO because of the overwhelming interest in the trip.

The team members are personally raising money for their travel and living expenses (approx. $1500/person).  Each team member has been seeking donations from family and friends through support letters and other fundraisers.

In addition, the Riverside congregation has donated approximately $7100 towards the house building supplies.  If you are able, please partner with the team financially by helping to pay for the cost of the houses.
